Q. What service does CareTrak Home Care Offer?

A. CareTrak Home Care offers one-on-one assistance to seniors and to disabled or injured individuals in the comfort of their own home. Services include:

Q. Is CareTrak Home Care Licensed?

A. Yes, CareTrak Home Care is licensed in Massachusetts. Our license number is #7290.

Q. Why should I choose CareTrak Home Care?

A. CareTrak Home Care is RN led, family owned and operated. We conduct criminal backgroud and DMV checks on all of our caregivers, companions and housekeepers. We prescreen all potential employees and meet them face to face. We also check personal and work references. CareTrak Home Care employees work directly for our agency. We handle all payroll responsibilities and you never pay the caregiver or deal with tax issues.

Q. Can CareTrak Home Care staff help me with medications?

A. Yes, CareTrak Home Care employees can remind clients when it is time to take their medications but caregivers cannot administer medications to clients.

Q. Is there a minimum numbers of hours per visit?

A. Typically, visits are at least three hours in length. However, depending on the proximity of the caregiver shorter visits will be considered.

Q. Do I sign a contract?

A. Yes, but you may cancel the contract at anytime if necessary. The contract is signed to specify the amount of services and the types of services that you will receive from CareTrak Home Care and the terms and conditions of the agency and client relationship. 

Q. What if my situation changes and I need less help or more help?

A. CareTrak Home Care is flexible and will work with you to adjust services so that they truly meet your needs. A charge may apply when a visit is scheduled and sufficient notice of cancellation is not provided to CareTrak.

Q. If I go into assisted living can I keep my caregiver?

A. Yes! CareTrak Home Care can provide you services in an assisted living or nursing home setting.

Q. What if my caregiver can't come on the assigned day?

A. CareTrak Home Care has backup caregivers available or if you prefer we can reschedule your visit.

Q. How often will I be billed?

A. Our billing is sent out weekly and you may pay CareTrak by check, money order or by credit card.

Q. What will services cost?

A. Services are provided at the current rates and fee schedules and vary with the types of services provided. Please contact us directly and we will be happy to discuss your individual needs and the projected costs of your services

Q. Will my health insurance or medicare cover the costs for CareTrak Home Care services?

A. CareTrak is a private pay provider. Your long term care insurance may cover some or all of our services. We can help you determine long term care insurance coverage for our services.

Q. What if I need help around the clock?

A. CareTrak Home Care can provide services to you for a few hours or for 24 hours a day. For more details on our live-in care click here
